My dad is 74 with type 2. His doctor says he should be exercising. Well probably he should be but he’s never really been a sporty or physically active kind of person. How can you make someone change at that age? Collaborate

You can’t MAKE anyone change at any age. They have to want to do it don’t you think? If he realizes the lack of exercise may have been part to blame for the diabetes, could be he might be more inclined to be active? How about walking with him a few days a week? Tell him you need the exercise to stop you getting diabetes too and would enjoy his company? Just a thought. Chris
